Wow, the news will never be the same. Peter Jennings has been a staple of my evening television viewing for years and years. He will be missed by a large portion of America.
  7. I didn't even know he was sick...

    Surprising. I didn't know he was 67.

I just got home from a gig and read this. What a drag - I am shocked.

  14. last night on matt drudge was denying it, saying it was just an internet rumor. i dismissed it as a rumor, only to discover that it was true. this sucks.

    RIP :(

Its definately a sad day for the American news. After Brokaw and Rather leaving their post and now this. American news broadcasting will not be the same ever again.

    RIP Peter

I'm shocked at how fast he went too. It was only back in april that he was diagnosed. I thought he was younger as well. He looks like he could be in his 50's.

he maybe lasted a month after that.

    RIP, peter.
