For sale Ritter Roya Concept : “Orion”

Here is one of these basses you don’t see very often; the day has arrived where I am in need to sell some of my instruments and here goes “Orion”, my beautiful Ritter 6 String Roya Concept number 1709; the instrument is just over 1 year old, and has some unique features that makes of it a true one-of-a-kind bass. Here are the specs:

• Ritter Roya Concept
• 6 Strings, BEADGC, currently wearing DR Black Beauties.
• Neck and Bridge Pickups are Ritter Master Triplebukers, and each has its independent 4 band equalizer. Each PU is mixed with a balance placed on the side of the bass (hidden from the front)
• 16.5mm String space
• 34” Scale
• Body wood: A crazy flamed maple, it looks like a beautiful piece of marble.
• Fretboard wood: Ebony
• Finish: Transparent high-gloss handpolished.
• 24 Dunlop 6000 frets
• RMC MIDI capabilities, 13 PIN on the side.
• Schaller straplocks.
• Ritter original case.
• Bass Weigth: 4.3Kg / 9.48 lbs.
• Bass in the Case weight: 14.2Kg / 31.30 lbs. Case will measure 50 * 18 * 6 inches.

The bass has a few extra features that makes it ultra awesome: the headstock has an ebony insert that only appear on some of Jen’s guitars and as far as I know this is the only bass with it. The armrest and lower wings have been carved for extra comfort and it really makes a difference when playing for extended amounts of time. The sound, as all Ritters is very warm and articulated, and the separated preamps, each with 4 band equalization capabilities truly give you infinite sound possibilities. I have it set for an aggressive “slap” sound in the neck and a “trombon”, Pastorius-like sound in the bridge PU. Beyond this, this would be my most-responsive Midi instrument; I don’t know why it is so, but the tracking that these RMC piezos deliver are the best I have experienced, speed, quality and dynamics-wise.

The bass is in inmaculate condition with no signs of wear.
