The iconic Platinum Roya Concept by Jens Ritter. Carved from a single piece of mahogany, the unique purple kingwood fretboard (the only one this size in existence) is the only other piece of wood on this fabulous instrument.
The body, neck and headstock are plated with genuine platinum leaf and then a clear coat has been applied on top for protection.
The tuners are on the back behind the bridge, and there is only a single small switch, which can turn on an active boost circuit. It otherwise runs passive through the piezo system in the bridge.
It sounds more than amazing and like nothing else you could ever hold in your hands.
I'm the first owner and have taken very good care of it. It has just come back recently from a full adjustment and check-up at Jens' workshop in Deidesheim, Germany.
Important note: There was originally a genuine 0.5 carat diamond set in platinum as the 12th fret marker, but I had it swapped with a zirconia stone before buying it from Jens, as the diamond itself was EUR 5,500.

Comes with the original black "vintage style" flightcase, truss rod wrench, and an extra set of blue strings.

For more information and pictures, see the Ritter website:

    Ritter Roya Concept #0636

I can take more pictures on request from serious buyers.

Will ship worldwide on buyer's cost and risk, but contact me for a shipping quote before buying if you don't want any surprises, I will only ship it fully insured at actual value.
But I can wrap it in as much protection as is needed to keep it safe during transport. The strings will be loosened before wrapping.

Those are DR strings, it's actually been a while since I got them, as I've been very careful with this bass I haven't played it enough to have to change strings often :)

So, not a lot of buyer action here - I am open for (very) reasonable bids or arranging how we can arrange a test run, etc. As I said I'd need to meet the buyer in person no matter what, unless somebody would want to send me this large amount of money without having touched the bass (and I doubt that). I'd also be willing to throw in an interesting effect pedal or offer one of my really nice ones (could be an untouched Echoczar+Angelbaby polished set) at a good price in the deal :)

Don't hold back, people, let me know what you think.

Thanks! And then again, the pandemic is the only reason I'm even putting it up for sale :)
