She's Asian and Latina, but we recently took DNA tests for the hell of it and it turns out she's got a large amount of African DNA as well... gotta love the Caribbean (she's Costa Rican). We really should have named our son "Planet"
Actually I do mention that often because being in that sort of relationship with both Hispanic and Asian in-laws has taught me a lot about race. If there's one thing that I can take away from it is that we REALLY are all the same. Different perspectives, different life experiences but deep down where it counts, none of us are any different at all.
