PRICE DROP! That’s as far as I’m going.
This Roscoe is truly one of a kind. It is the ONLY six string small body headless bass that Keith ever built. In a happy coincidence while I was visiting his shop I mentioned off hand how I’d been looking for a travel bass to take with me on trips and then Gard pulls up a rendering of an idea they’d been batting around.
This bass is basically a cut down LG Custom 3006. Although the top is flat and not carved it is still classified as a Custom. It has an Exhibition burl maple top and swamp ash body with enhanced grain. The neck is maple and Purple Heart with a wenge fret board. The twelfth marker is podouk to match the orange finish.
The last couple of pictures are of me and were going to used in a Roscoe marketing campaign. But, the legal issues with my employer would make it troublesome. In the end, I believe he only made two of these. A five string and this six.
I will trade this bass for almost ANY Roscoe four or five string. I don’t like sixes anymore so that’s why I’m letting it go. Absolutely no other trades please! Thanks!
Gloss orange finish
Burl maple top
Swamp ash body w/ enhanced grain
Wenge fret board
Podouk marker
HipShot headless system
Bartolini jazz pickups
Aguilar OBP-3 preamp
35” scale
Gig bag included
