Very well could be the official way to measure, but I did ask a couple of pro's who said to mic the distance between the center string (not the thickest) and with that information a "string center to string center" could be easily calculated due to the minimal difference.

However, based on what you added, I re-measured from string center to string center, and it's 16.43mm. That's about half the width of the two strings.

Hope this helps.

i think this is not roscoe standard 18.3mm. Seems to be 19 if the 16.03 is accurate

The correct measurement would be to center-of-saddle to center-of-saddle, so as to disregard varying string gauges. But as the saddles are adjustable +/-1.6mm, this could also read incorrect. To ensure a true read, measure the entire bridge. The Hipshot 6-string A bridge is available in 8 different sizes, each having their own dimensions. Eyeing the photos, I'd wager it is not 19mm based on the thickness of the walls between the saddles; I'd guess 18mm or 18.5mm. Please do measure and let us know! Bass looks great!

My apologies if I made it sound more complicated than it is.
You have a digital micrometer, which is as precise as one can get.
Measure the entire length of the bridge, outside to outside. It will likely be one of the following:
4.467in [113.5mm] = 17mm
4.570in [116.1mm] = 17.5mm
4.675in [118.7mm] = 18mm
4.775in [121.3mm] = 18.5mm
The Hipshot link I included above provides technical drawings of all 8 size variations.
I'm REALLY interested in this bass; bridge size would be a deciding factor.

Sorry, but I'm not qualified to make the precise measurements about which you're asking. Roscoe is the person with answers to every technical question, and it would be best to talk directly to the maker. (336) 274-8810. Last time I called him he was very personable and eager to help.
