Hey Steve, long time! Actually I haven’t a clue. Light-ish for a full sized five string jazz since it’s swamp ash. The heaviest part is the vintage style Hipshot tuners.
Ive been GAS’ing for a 2nd Roscoe pretty bad lately. Sometimes I want a passive 4, sometimes I want more of a “backup/2nd bass” for my Century 5. The thing with the classics is they tend to be heavy and that’s a thing for me with a sub 8 pound Bass currently.
Does it sound “passive” when you bypass the preamp? I’m always curious. I’d like a passive to counter my active Century, but then I think what if I want the flexibility of an active, but I already have an active. Argh.
