Here we have an incredible Roscoe Classic Jazz bass, probably the best Jazz bass I've ever encountered but I just don't play much anymore and I still have a bunch of basses so it just sits. Time to move some on to fund other hobbies which are getting my attention now
This is pure Jazz bass through and through with just a killer neck, of course 1.5" at the nut. Neck shape is just right, not too thin but not chunky either. Pau Ferro fingerboard, and Roscoe PLEK's these at the factory so the setup and frets are pristine.
Body is poplar, 'light relic' from the factory so it's full of vintage sweetness like finish checking, splotches, scratches and other types of relicing, all by design and all done by Roscoe. The neck does not have any type of relicing on it.
Pickups are Fralin P/J with a split coil 5% overwound at the bridge. Passive V/V/T. It also comes with a J/J tort pickguard if you wish to go that way.
Currently has a Hipshot B style bridge. It came with a Hipshot Vintage but I like the B better. I will include the Vintage.
Weight = 9lb, 2.2oz.
Case = Comes with a nice Gator hard case.
$1850 shipped to the lower 48.
