I adore this bass. Just recently got it in trade and had every intention of keeping it forever. It plays great, it sounds great, it’s comfortable, it’s fantastic. But I need a fretless six string right now and as much as I love this Roscoe, my main player is a Fodera and I find it to be more comfortable, primarily because of the wider string spacing (I have hands like catchers mitts.) Though I can play this one comfortably, even with its tighter spacing.
If I have to keep it, I’m good with that. But I’m hopeful that someone out there has a six string fretless (preferably with wider spacing) that they want to trade. I’m not selling at the moment, but may decide to later. I’m only interested in six string fretless Basses. Please don’t offer anything else unless it’s something wildly more valuable than my Roscoe. I’m in the Washington DC area and am willing to travel a bit in any direction for the right trade. I also have a house in Shenandoah County, VA (close to the WV border) and can travel from there for a deal. Otherwise, mine will be shipped/insured through FedEx.
If you have an offer that’s more valuable, I also have a Steinberger Spirit four string and a Phil Jones Bighead Pro that I could add. I’m not looking to add cash to a deal but if you have something, run it by me. If I really want it, I can add cash; would rather not though. The Bighead has about two hours of total playtime. I bought it new thinking I would use it with my Steinberger when I travel to my other house, as that’s explicitly why I bought the steinberger. It fits perfectly behind the driver seat in my truck and still enough room for everyone else. But I only ever took them to the other house once. Since then I find there’s so much to do at the other place, I just never bring a bass.
