Whatever bass you have, plug it in, adjust ONE KNOB at a time, and see what is does to your tone. Adjust the knobs on your bass one at a time and see what that does too. This way, you will start understanding what you need to adjust to sound the way you would like to. Lastly, keep in mind that the combo you have can only do so much tone wise. It's 25 watts and you only have an 8" speaker - it will only go so low and/or loud before it starts distorting or farting out.
