This bass is essentially new. I have never gigged it and it has been in the included gig bag since I received it. It is an S.Martyn Blaze 5, made in Brazil by luthier Samuel Martyn. The bass has a 32" scale length, three pickups, and many tone options. Yes, the "B" sounds great, don't let the scale length worry you. The bass is very comfortable to play and sounds great.
The body is made from Pinus. The neck is Marfim and Jatoba in 3 pieces. The bridge is from Nova Guitar Parts. The pickups and preamp is from S.Martyn. Finish is matte. I called it gray burst, not sure what they call it but it looks great. Comes with factory included strap.
