I'm selling two sets of Sadowsky 5-string SINGLE COIL pickups. Both are in near mint condition. I played on these for about a month & decided I preferred to stick with the hum-cancelling pickups. One set is the stock 60s wind from Sadowsky & the other is 70s wind from Nordstrand which makes Sadowsky's SC pickups (60s is a little fatter & warmer, 70s has a touch more top end). Both sets are exact replacements for Sadowsky 5-string basses & have the engraved Sadowsky logo.

$140 shipped (CONUS) each set. PayPal.

    Hey. Just wondering..

I'm thinking of swapping out my hum cancelling pickups no my Sadowsky UV70 5'er. Did you not notice much difference in sound, or just didn't like the tone from these..?

The singles have more mid presence & punch than the HC while the HC are a little more open & airy sounding (if that makes sense!).

Anyone know if these will fit a DJ5?

Probably not. Laklands use Fender size pickups where the neck is slightly smaller than the bridge. Sadowsky pickups are both the same size.

Darn. I like the stock pickups but looking for a little more modern Marcus sound.... But I have little to no experience with jazz pickups.
