  1. Ricky Minor doing his thing laying down a nice and tight
    Sadowsky tone.
His long time Smith is taking a backseat...
Its nice to see and hear Sadowsky basses on a primetime show  :bassist:

His bass sounded freakin' great!!! I was wondering who it was, and was trying to ID the bass the last two nights. I love how the band just opened up during "Drift Away" last night, and he was just jamming out. He probably really needed to bust it out after so many boring ballads.
  5. Will Lee from David Letterman's band plays a Sadowsky, too.
  6. Yea, Ricky is the Music Director of choice in Hollywood...

He's done all of the VH1 Diva's show's as well as Fame, and
    Motown Anniversary Shows...

    Truly an underated player... :bassist:

Not to get this too off topic, but wasn't he in that band "Mint Condition?" I have that CD Definition of a Band.

Well, ol' Ricky sure likes to end those songs with a big glissando. Isn't there a fine for that?
  10. i thought it was ricky mint who played in minor condition.

  11. I believe we talked about Ricky Minor in an "Underappreciated bassists" thread. Wish i could've seen him on American 'Idle' :D .

I'd like to see Randy Jackson whip out his Lull and play with it! It always irks me that a bassist I used to really dig is now mainly known for American Idol.
  15. This is SO true. I still dig his playin' though.... Yo Yo DOG....
  16. Ricky does it again with his Sadowsky bass, I thought his maple fingerboard sounded way better this week than last
week with his 5 string with the rosewood fingerboard.

And the slap tone on the luther's "never too much" was killer... :bassist:
