Anyone else using these strings these days? I put a set of the light gauge (tapered B) on my Sadowsky Metro Express and they seem to do the trick on this bass for me. A nice full tone without being overly squeaky bright. Not too rough on the fingers and just the right tension. Think I'll stick with these for now but they do have a pretty hefty price tag....especially when compared to the D'Addario's I run on my other bass. I've done several gigs (outdoor with humidity etc) on them and a few rehearsals and they seem to be holding up well. Hopefully they last a while!

By far the best nickel string I have come across in 30+ years. I use to use DR's faithfully. Nice punch but not harsh or too bright in the mix. Its those for me when not using flats. I mostly use TI's but recently did try the hybrid La Bella IMA Super Polished on my Stingray and impressed when solo/studio but they struggled a bit for me in the live mix at recent gigs. Sad Nickels for me all the way.
