Love the feel, but I’m starting to think different about the tone. Not so great through headphones, but they sound great through my amp.

I asked this because I wanted to know the working lenght of the B-string.
The information in the string lenght section is incorrect but the topicstarter does'nt react.
I already found out myself because I have a set on my Ibanez SRMS725 which fit's perfectly.

So, what's the answer to the question? What's the actual winding length on the Sadowsky XL low B?

The lenght till silk ex ball-end = 38.188"
The usable lenght till silk because of the slot of the taperwinding = 37.401"
