Sadowsky Chambered Bodies

I would love to have the Sadowsky experience under my belt, but I've never played one.

I do own a Mike Lull M5V, which is a chambered-body Jazz-style bass. I was after a little different tone than the original, so my perspective would be, the chambered bodied bass responded fairly significantly to different pickups and preamps. So I don't believe the chamber part of the bass had a very large effect on the tone. Not near as much as the lighter weight on my shoulder!...

I would expect similar experiences with the Sadowsky basses.

If I'm not mistaken the MIG (Made in Germany) Metros will have chambered bodies!

What year did the German Metroline instruments become chambered? Looking at used ones and want to ficus on the chambered models.
