Starting a new 2020 for sale/trade thread for this bass which I had previously listed just to keep things clean. Offered for sale or trade is my amazing 1993 Sadowsky Modern. This bass has been played and there is wear and tear but it is still absolutely stunning and natural wear on the nitro finish neck is what every relic'd neck aspires to be. The neck is still smooth and very easy to play, just naturally discoulored as nitro is prone to do over time. There is one good ding on the bottom of the bass that can be seen in the photos and most of the other marks on the body are minor indents or minor scratches.
The bass currently has Big splits in it but I still have the EMG's and they will be included with the bass. The Nordys sound fantastic though. The bridge was also upgraded by the last owner. The original bridge was a Gotoh 206 and when the one of the saddles died the owner decided to replace it with a Hipshot Kickass bridge as you can't get replacement parts for these bridges.
It is not a direct replacement so new holes were drilled (there is no direct replacement) but all the old holes are completely covered and the new bridge is amazing and adds to the bass. The old bridge will be included in the deal as well.
It also has a VTC installed by a Sadowsky certified tech.
Specs
Swamp ash body
Quilted Maple top
'59 burst
34" scale
19mm spacing
24 frets
Weight is right around 8lbs 14oz.
VTC installed.
Not really looking for trades but you never know. I would be most interested in basses in the $900-$1200 range plus significant cash my way. Spector Euro 5's, Carvin JB5's, EBMM Bongo 5's, G&L JB5's interesting 4 strings potentially as well.
Price includes shipping in North America in the original Sadowsky soft case.
