For Sale: Sadowsky NYC Standard 5-21 #6676
Just recently picked up this beautiful Sadowsky in trade here on TB. The bass is in very good condition for a 4 or 5 year instrument. There is some slight swirling near the pickups that I couldn't really capture in photos, a small crack on the back plastic face plate, and some slight scratching coming from the tone pot. You can see from the pics-it's just gorgeous.
This bass sports a comfy Will Lee neck profile (1.75 inch nut width) and Sadowsky single-coil pickups. The tone on this bass is killer-the Amazon Rosewood board gives it a softer ping than Morado or Ebony, but definitely brighter than Indian Rosewood. The single-coils propel each note with great authority. Weighing in at only 8.36lbs with no neck dive, this bass is a breeze to play for hours. Only selling as I'm not sure about keeping a 5-string given some hand issues I've recently experienced, plus I've got too many basses right now.
