I need to raise some funds for another purchase, so I'm making this available. I can say without hesitation that this is by far the Finest J-style bass I've ever been afforded the privilege to play. It's tonally and ergonomically on a totally different level from anything else I've owned in this category, however, I have another custom on order and really do need to raise some funds to help cover the cost. Specs are as follows.
Chambered Alder Body
Ebony Fretboard 12" radius
Maple neck (Nitro Finish)
Black Hardware
Master grade Monkeypod top
8.2lbs (Also the lightest 5 string Jazz I've ever owned)
Disclosure: There are some superficial cracks in the clear coat near the bottom strap button. Purely cosmetic, affects nothing in terms of playability or structural integrity.
Payment/shipping: Due to the amounts involved and paypals/venmo's new 1099 policy, I'd prefer to avoid these payment methods for this particular transaction, but will work with prospective buyers on a case by case basis. If purchased outright, buyer pays full shipping cost, quote from carrier of your choice will be provided. Will deal with shipping on a trade deal on case by case basis.
I'm located near Philly and would be willing to drive a bit to avoid the fees and risks of shipping.
Trades: I would be looking to net in the neighborhood of $4k for any trade, absolutely no less than $3500 Seeking the following in descending order of interest. Also, no 35" scale & no maple boards, sorry they're just not my thing.

Fodera Emperor J classic (passive version) (willing to take less cash on this)
