Safari 4.0 Beta

been using the beta 4 for both pc and mac for some time now, it works flawlessly, anyone who says differently probably can't even do simple things in life like buy proper sized shirts LOL

cover flow is there for a reason, go to macrumors to find out.. ;)

According to other tests, Safari 4 is the fastest out there. It beats Chrome on Javascript execution, which is supposed to be Chrome's breakthrough feature.

Still, Chrome is pretty nice.

As for it working flawlessly...? Huh? It clearly does the opposite since i cant find any use out of it on my thinkpad.

Regarding the Coverflow thing:
Still useless, and it looks like I dont have DX9.

I've tried again, and it still sucks...Chrome just does a better job at being fast and useful. I think I'd rather use Internet Explorer 8 ALPHA than this junk.











You could say I'm turned off by mac. It all started in Comp eng when the kid beside me said,
"Ughhhhhhh, windows. Once you go mac, you never go back"

no, i don't know where i was going with that one.
Bottom line is, pens are going to lose to the wings again, and for windows, chrome seems to be beating safari in terms of usability, speed, and reliability.

'nuff said, thread closed.
