Got this about a year ago and never really warmed up to it. Sage Custom 5, Swamp ash body with figured Walnut top,flamed maple/purpleheart neck. About 8 1/2 lbs. Nordy Fat Stack pickups with a Nordy preamp. The neck is 35" scale,and has a fat C profile. If you like thick necks,this is your bass.1500.00 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states. In addition to being an overall eye-catching bass, the back of that neck blows my mind...:wideyed:

What is the fingerboard wood? Rosewood? Pau ferro?

Dang. I bought this bass from Phillip who posted above. This was year ago, and it has changed hands a number of times since then. It truly is the best 5er I've ever played. Unfortunately I am broke and have no real use for a 5er at the moment, otherwise I'd love to have it back.
