I have been trying various short and medium scale basses to see what is the most comfortable due to my joint degeneration issue, and I believe I have settled on 32” scale being the most comfortable. Therefore I am looking to see if there is anyone with a 32” scale bass (preference is 5-string but will look at 4-string also) who may want to trade for this bass.
This is an Australian-made Curtinsmith short scale bass guitar, and it is definitely one of a kind. It’s a 31” scale with 24 frets and some crazy curly maple on the back of the roasted neck. Instead of dots or markers this has block inlays made of camphor laurel wood. There are too many options to list so I have attached a screenshot with all of the specs. Weight is 6.8 pounds.
I am willing to trade up or down +/- cash as needed for the right bass. I have attached photos from the Curtinsmith website as well as my own photos that ijust took this morning. Thanks for looking….please send any inquiries via PM.
