I just found one in the trash at an apartment building.....mine should have stayed there.... :)

Not sayin there is anything "wrong" with them, but I saw one sell on CL for 45 bucks.

You could upgrade it in any fashion you desire, but you could spend the upgrade money on another bass as well....

i got another bass. i got a fender pbass.

im thinking of putting some super pickups in this bass
and a black bridge cover.

bass is nice i would say worth more than what u say

I wasn't trying to be offensive.... :)

It just happened to be worth 45 bucks to the person who bought it on CL. And to you, it was worth the case you traded for it.

I wish you the best of luck with it..... :)

A buddy of mine has a Samick acoustic guitar and it is pretty nice for the price. My only problem with it isn't the guitar...it's the guitar player who owns it. He insists on calling it a
"sammich" as in...I'm hungry and I'm going to make a sammich.

I tried to tell him, no, it's not sammich with a CH, it's samick with a K...sigh....guitards!

The factory Samick comes out of is the same one as many other Korean guitars. Their distribution that I've seen is mainly through pawn shops so that may be part of the stigma but I think they're decent instruments. I played with one guitar player that changed between Taylor and Samick acoustics almost indiscriminately so how bad can they be? ;)
