i played one a few times at a store, and finally made arrangements to trade my jo5 + cash for a california vm. just a bit before i was heading over, the guy called and backed out. i'm still heartbroken. those are some nice basses.

Hi Guy's, I have just taken delivery of a new left handed Sandberg TM5.
I got fed up with the Warwick Thumb bass I had since 1991. They have a fantastic website where you can see all their bass models in all the colours and finishes they have. I ordered a swamp ash body in high gloss finish, with a maple neck optional extra black block inlays. It has a fantastic neck with Delano electronics. Pick up configuration is a large Humbucker in the bridge position, which can be split with a switch on the control plate & a single coil in the neck position. Two volume controls with bass and treble. Great bass, great tones for less than EUR1700. Highly recommended, I love it....
