Sansamp VT with a powered cab

So I am thinking about trying this out. Using a Sans amp VT bass box going straight into a Carvin LSX1503A powered cab. I have read the fearful threads and know that this cab is a great starting point, or at least the unpowered version is. I think some people are doing this already. Looks on paper to work and would make a great ultra portable rig IMO. Is there any thing I need to consider before going out and spending money on this or is there a better way of doing it.

I doubt you'd be disappointed buying the VT pedal, so it seems worth a try. It should work great.

none, it is supposed to be run as a preamp
