Scanning PDF to Music XML (.MXL)

Anyone recommend an web site or app for scanning PDF sheet music to Music XML (.MXL) format?

I've searched and found at least one .com web site that purports to provide this function, but I'm loathe to trust a strange (to me) site absent a recommendation ("I've used it; they're legit, bro.") Something free would be nice, of course, or of minimal cost.

I have some standard notation band parts in PDF format I need to scan some into MXL, so I can import them into MuseScore (or Finale et al) and modify them in the digital realm. This would be a lifesaver for me, as entering the parts into MuseScore manually (with a keyboard and mouse) will take days at my level.

Well, I feel rather sheepish. I'd never noticed the "Import PDF" selection in the "File" drop-down menu.

And in trying that, I realize I'm still using a demo (free) version of Musescore 3, with limited features, and that's not one of them. But then I'm also still strapped to Windows7. Seems I may be forced to upgrade, upgrade, and upgrade.

Thanks!
