My friend has an old Hondo Sting bass with what I think is a Schaller bridge. It's missing one of the rollers that sit in the string saddle. I've looked online and cannot find parts anywhere, only full bridges. Any body know where I can get just parts? I checked the Schaller site and it's all in german of course, I don't sprichten z duetch, near as I can tell they didn't sell parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You will have a bear of a time trying to find parts for a Schaller anything. Unless you live in Germany and can visit the factory I would consider another (used) Schaller or a new one, or another bridge entirely.

I have several basses with Schaller bridges and I hold them in high regard. I love their string spacing option and find them to be outstanding products over all.

I will add that I don't even know how you can get the roller out on a Schaller - considering it's a Hondo it may very well be a knockoff.

Try posting a "WTB - Schaller Bridge Parts" here on TB. I did a few years back and ended up with a few rollers and axles courtesy of the TB brothers and their overflowing junk drawers. The last one (two?) went to walterw.

I try to avoid any hardware where repair / replacement parts are not readily available.
