personally i think if your set on buying a Schecter i would buy the Schecter Model 004

Schecter makes some awesome stuff! My issue is the narrow string spacing on the five stringers (I have a Stiletto Custom 5) and the EMG-HZs are just OK.
Just spit apple martini all over my screen...lol
Never thought of it like that but you may be right....lol. Can somebody photoshop a Ric style pickguard on one of these basses i'm curious....I'm seriously thinking about buying one and having a budy C-N-C me a pickguard i think it would look great...
I also think they would be slighly better if they swapped necks...lol
Were it my choice, I'd go with the Studio, but I'm partial to neck throughs. Have you looked at the natural blonde satin Custom?

Neither, indie rockers go for pawn-shop throwaways.

Difference is the preamp I believe. Both are good choices, Schecter makes a great product for the money.
