Schecter CV-4, CV-5

I've done some searches on the Schecter CV-4 and CV-5, but haven't seen much on them. Would appreciate any input on these. I understand they've only been out for about a year and longevity has yet to be proven. I did come across a CV-4, really liked the feel and playability through the Mesa (I think it was 400W via and 6x10 cab) rig in the store. It sounded spectacular in an isolated environment. Big question I'm wondering is how it sits in the band mix. Also does it record well? All comments appreciated.
