Are you looking at the 4 or 5 string?

They definitely have a small cult (not meant in a derogatory manner) following here. Seems to be a great bass, especially for the money.

 

I have the 4 string. I think it is great! It is heavy as they come though. Don't fool yourself into thinking you'll get traditional p tones or j tones by soloing the pickups. They certainly are hot. Really aggressive sound, but I totally dig it!

 

^ Yes, everything I've read leads me to believe they are a little heavy and have hot pickups.

 

My bandleader has one and the tone is superb. I absolutely love the pickups but it is heavy as all hell.
