thanksI think it was a Framus - that may help you find the thread.
School Of Rock! Haha! Great movie. Off topic but the drummer from the movie lives around my area I live right now. A couple years back my buddy played in one of those drum offs at guitar center. Right before the contest started all my buds and I were jammin' in the keyboard section. That drummer from the movie came in to the keyboard section and started "jammin'" with us. He did not fit in at all. In fact it just sounded horrible. We all looked at each other, laughed, then walked away. Sorry to ramble but this thread just brought that memory up. Oh, for those who care his try at the contest was not good at all. He was the only one to use a cowbell with a foot pedal. Good time had by all. Sorry if you had time to waste to read this.
I don't feel like I was ragging on him. I didn't say that using a cowbell with a foot pedal was a bad thing. I was just posting for the sake of being bored. Sorry if I was misunderstood.
I still dont understand why they needed to use such... odd.. basses for the movie. All of the guitars were pretty average, why not a P bass or something?
But it is one of my all time favorite movies, so its all good.

Just watched this movie for the tenth (or whatever) time last night. The movie is nearly flawless. But...
They should've given that poor girl a bass solo at the end! Or at least a solo fill.![]()
. I once had a guitarist say to me "Just sit on the E," just like in Katie's introduction to the bass.
