Scott's Bass Lessons vs ArtistWorks vs everything else

I've been a member of Scott's Bass Lessons for a little less than a year. It's really fun. However, sometimes the information seems a bit scattered. It doesn't always follow a logical flow. Of course, if you want a lesson that does follow more of a curriculum, those always cost extra (which I don't mind paying, if it's worth it).

Recently I discovered John Patitucci's courses on ArtistWorks. The course outlines were very organized. It looks like he sets up the concept then methodically takes you through that concept in each key. What I've seen seems very logical. But there's no free trial, so I can't really check it out.

I'm a guy who's been playing bass on/off for 30 years. I enjoy learning. But if I'm paying for it, I want it to make sense and be applicable to real life situations.

Anyone here have experience with ArtistWorks or maybe some other curriculums that you'd recommend?
