SD Blackouts vs EMG DC

I've done some searching, but haven't found what I'm looking for.

Has anybody done a direct comparison between the Blackouts and DCs? How do they compare soundwise? Pros and cons?

I haven't compared them directly, but I would always go for S.D.:

The EMG DCs are a side by side humbucker. The are 2 blades that run the entire width of the pickup. Some of the Blackouts are designed that way and some have a P bass style blade (split between string groups.) Just mentioning so you can make more of an apples to apples comparison. I have no experience with the Blackouts.

Not all soap-bars are hum-buckers.
Blackouts are the only active S.D. in a EMG size.

Lots of people do P-style offset coils in a humbucker housing.

Doesn't mean they sound just like a P though.

Then again, there seem to be hundreds of distinct "P tones"....
