SD Quarter Pounders. Pbass vs Jbass

I have 2 bases, pbass and jbass. Swapped out both original pups with quarter pounders. The pbass set are so hot and loud... the jbass estate great but not even in the same ball park for volume and hotness...
Can anyone tell me if this is normal?
