If you go to Guitar Center website, they have the same bass for $209. They are the same company.

I signed up for SDOTD emails because I missed out on some cool bass stuff in the past.
Months and months go by, every day I wake up and looked, nothing bass at all.

Then FINALLY! Something bass related...

The SDOTD deal always lives up to its name. It's either stupid to buy it or it's stupid not to buy it. One or the other. I have played one of these Mitchell PJs. They are actually pretty well built and sound good.

I think these are discontinued now but if anyone's still looking, the Guitar Center link currently shows one as 'blemished' for $167.98.

I bought a new one a month ago and its surprisingly good. I didn't have to do any setup apart from loosening the truss rod a bit. The fit & finish is pretty much perfect and I really like the sound of the J pickup, which I can't say for many PJs.
