Details

Only selling because it's a 1 7/8" nut and I now have a 1 3/4" LEJ 5 that I ADORE. This bass is amazing but 1 3/4" nut wins for my hands on a 5 string. Price includes shipping to lower 48. It has a small chip on headstock, on upper horn, and small bump on the arm cut. You can see them all in the photos. Specs are:

1 7/8" brass nut
19MM spacing
34" scale
10.2 lbs
Alder body
Rosewood board
3 pc quartersawn maple neck
Blocked and bound pearloid
Hipshot ultralite tuners
Hipshot A bridge
LowEnd 2/3 band preamp
Custom LowEnd Kent Armstrong Dual J's
Active/passive switch
Mute switch
2/3 band switch

Cool binding. Never saw that before except on a drum shell. Good luck.

Jazz bass on steroids for sure, all Brians basses are collectables, as this privateer competes against many major bass manufactures, and kicks but all day. For those of you who understand when a bass really "SPANKS", this one does! GLWYS!

Yes that includes this one currently!
I am totally jealous! Just wondering Matt, if half our members understand just how well built these basses are, and the thought process upgrading every detail of a traditional jazz bass, in Brian's basses. It starts at the name and goes crazy after that!

they're on a complete different level. 100% for sure. I had 30 basses. And I've been selling them left and right for only LowEnd's. They check every box for me especially in the studio.

Ditto, I sold 2 Ken Smith basses, a Modulus, a MTD 535-21, and 2 vintage Laklands. The Low-end Jazzes have stood the test of time! Surprising how much attention Brian's headstock gathers!

Controls: Volume - Blend - Tone (similar to Sadowsky VTC) - Bass/Treble? When switched to 3-band, the mids are controlled via a potentiometer in the cavity, right?

Similar to what he describes at 2:50 mark here:

he builds them all differently. You can get them in a ton of combos. This one it's volume blend mid band and stacked bass treble. The switch on the bottom switches between to two different EQ bands. Middle switch is a mute switch and top is active passive.

Yeah, I've seen several combinations, why I asked. Any tone control then when run passive?
