Sealed 2x15" cab - speaker question

Are you talking about the TL606, or a different EV design?

To follow up on my original question here, I bought two Eminence Delta Pro 15As from the great guys at Midwest Speaker Repair (the best), and they're absolutely fantastic in my cab. Everything I was hoping for: plenty of efficiency, nice and full, not boomy, plenty of clarity and high end for my purposes, no gross clank in the mids. Two thumbs up.

One thing I noticed while spending way too much time on the Eminence site; their speaker response curves aren't all on the same scale. I saved the ones I was interested in and overlaid them all in Photoshop, and the choice became pretty obvious.

At one time, it was common for a speaker manufacturer to provide cabinet designs like EV did. It helped sell speakers. I don’t recall if EV ever sold TL cabinets that were the same as the published designs, there were many that were based on them though.

The 415 TL606Q must have been a monster to move.
Way back in the day, I had an EV, SRO , 215 cab. Have no idea what it was loaded with, but it weighed more than I did. Thank God it was on casters.
