Search for moveable scale format

I had used a web site that had a feature where one could dial in a scale and it would present strings and finger placement going through all the modes of the selected scale.Any one familiar with this site(can't remember name obviously)or one similar please help if you can.All suggestions welcome.

Ionian play the major scale. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 in as many octaves as you like.
Lydian play the major scale and sharp the 4's.
Mixolydian play the major scale and flat the 7th.

Aeolian play the natural minor scale. 1-2-b3-4-5-b6-b7 in as many octaves as you like.
Dorian play the natural minor scale and sharp the b6 to to a natural 6.
Phrygian play the natural minor scale and add a b2.
Locrian play the natural minor scale and add a b2 and a b5.

This is parallel modes where the key stays the same and the notes change. The major scale box will help with all that b3 and #4 stuff...

Want C Dorian place the 1 over a C note and play the spelling for Dorian (1-2-b3-4-5-6-b7). Using this method you will have to put to memory all the spellings - within the box - for the scales and arpeggios as well, not a step for a stepper. Google can help.

Learn this ^^^^ to get you started (that's good solid stuff), and then learn to free yourself of the box, by progressively exploring what is there "outside of the box".

Once you know your fingerboard inside-out, you will be free to play whatever the music calls for without being limited to the content of the box.

Most importantly, have fun playing your bass.

It's probably StudyBass.com, but it's 1000x better to get some Graph paper and refer to @Malcolm35 's post, and create your own diagrams.

I spent a lot of time making my own diagrams as a beginner, and by the time I was done I didn't need diagrams any more.

Thanks to all for your input. Am familular with the modes, etc, kind of old hat, was hunting for a specific site, escapes me. I will find it eventually and will post Most educational by the way, Just putting the question out there. Thanks all.

It is for guitar, but it will do what you are asking to visualize the fretboard for all scales.
