    hello everybody,

i have seen a second hand yamaha motion
it's 20 years old. I wander, do basses diminish in quality and what can easily be broken.

it's a yamaha motion LB, so it's a long scale. does anyone know or own this bass ?

    thanx guys

  2. Well, my impression of the older Yammy stuff is that they are high quality sturdy instruments but you got to try it out before you decide if you like the feel and SOUND of the bass. Things to look out for (on any used bass) is inputjack, pots (scratchy?), bent tuners or uneven action, signs of mishandling, straightness of the neck, fretwear etc... take a good look before you decide. I saw a bass just like that one a couple of years ago, but it was white. Not my bag, really.

  3. Nice bass. Don't care much for the headstock design.
