Seeking custom Jazz bass suggestions

Who is custom building a jazz bass with these specs below?

5-string, bolt-on
35” scale
1.75” nut (narrow Sadowsky style)
Active JJ
Ash body finished in wine-red burst
Maple board with Pearl blocks

I know Lakland USA will make close to this (with just slightly larger nut)... but I would love to find a custom builder who will work with me. I am also a fan of Devon Basses, but casting the net to see who else is out there!

My last 3 go-to basses were a Lakland 55-94, Mike Lull PJ5 and a Metro Sadowsky Jazz. They are all fantastic basses for the money.

Pat Wilkins of Wilkins Custom Guitars is well versed in that type of request. My Wilkins WRTJ5 is incred! My Wilkins 5 is an ash chambered Jazz body with a slim nut taper. I don’t know the measurement but slimmer than my Lakland 55-94. It has Hipshot hardware. Quatersawn maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. An insane natural satin finish. Audere 4 band with Nordstrand NJ5’s. Lightweight too. I guarantee Pat will deliver for you as he has for me. He’s a damn cool cat and a great player too. Well respected in the industry.

I love Pat Wilkins’s work, but it’s out of my price range. Need to stay under closer to $2K. I am considering refinishing a Lakland Skyline, but wonder if there is another alternative. The main thing is 35” scale and slim nut (1.75-1.8).
