I don’t know if this helps, but I’m on the waitlist for a new one. My spot should be coming up in the next few months (current wait is about a year). I would love to sell my spot for the exact deposit I put down. I would many it with Sam, but I’m sure it would be okay. Had some medical bills come up for my daughter and would rather not have to pay off a new bass right now.

Sounds possible. Yeah parenting is full of surprises to say the least! I contacted him a few months ago and he mentioned the year lead time which was a bit long for me (I was actually looking to see if he had any ready to go items sitting around). A few questions. Are you saying that the delivery date is the next few months? Also, are you implying that the build would be up to me - no construction has started yet? If so, and you can confirm this with Sam, I am happy to seriously consider it. Cheers and thanks - sounds like a nice way to not have to comb Reverb etc. every day searching for something suitable.
