Hello everyone,
I am really bummed that my Pernambuco bow was stolen with my double case some time ago. However, I have a really nice Brazilwood bow that I like, but looking for another bow to include in my bow arsenal. I am looking between these bows listed below. I don't have it in the budget right now to spend a lot of money on an expensive bow. I do play professionally with the majority of arco playing. I am down to these bows, and I am looking to see if anyone has one of these, or would like to give their opinion here.

Bob Gollihur Pernambuco French Bow: $269
UB Upton Bass Workshop Bow (Brazilwood): $259
Finale Bass Bow (Black Weave CF): $380 w/shipping, case, and rosin
(I have seen the Jason Heath Video on this bow)
Dorfler Brazilwood Bow: $275

1 Pernambuco, 2 Brazilwood, and 1 Carbon Fiber bow in the running.

Thank you everyone for your time!

I have the Gollihur pernambuco, but with a German frog. I've tried the Finale, and I like Gollihur's bow better. It's good for the price, but I found a bow I like better in the classifieds here (for more money). I keep the Gollihur bow for a backup.
Most people (and shops) will let you try a bow and send it back if it doesn't suit you. I'd advise you to use that arrangement to select your next bow.

I can't respond to your poll without playing all four of the listed bows!

I think the feeling is generally that the Finale is better balanced along the lines of a more expensive bow, BUT the sound is pretty monochromatic (having said that Dennis Trembly was using one in the LA Phil before he retired). The Brazilwood bows are all pretty good, but as AG says they need to be trialed on you bass if possible.
