Sennheiser powersupply - multi devices

I am not sure where to post this. I am running a Sennheiser G3 wireless and a Sennheiser xsw35 wireless mike. They both are racked up and have the same power supply. Can i buy a power supply that will power them both and save myself a spot on my rack power strip?

you probably can...but its not as amazingly cheap...you are looking at around $270CA for the XSW rackmount system which includes the rack ears and combiner system for 2 units...or the other one is exorbantly pricey but can do 4 wireless however it is a more substantial pro unit...

Sure- check ebay and find a wall-wart that puts out twice the amps at the same voltage, as the existing ones. Then wire the two plugs in parallel (twist the three positives together, then the three negatives together).

But the ebay ones might not be as reliable. In my experience buying 12v bricks for LED strips, they are hit and miss.

and this is how problems with power begin....lol this is how things end up bad...you can always use a short AC cable and tri-tap or something...that will be your cheapest and easiest option...

Maybe, certainly a risk if you don't have a basic understanding of power.

But DC power is dirt simple. And while the manufacturers of the devices certify that they work with the provided power supply, they also typically have bean counters that are cutting costs way too far.

Meaning you can often put a better power supply on a device without much effort.

But again, if you are not comfortable with it, maybe better use the AC clusters of death instead. : )
