I have (4) basses. Two I will never part with. Of those (1) was a bday present from my wife. (1) is older than my kids. I bought it off a local bassist who I looked up too, and had it worked on by Mike Lull. Both people sadly, have now passed away. The other two, while nice basses, could go with no real loss.

Basses are sentimental or they don’t stick around. Amps are another story. I find myself attached to my Mesa Walkabout for some reason. It’s a great amp, but I’m not exactly sure why I feel sentimental about it. Every other amp I’ve owned has been simply a tool to get loud.
