The P-Bass killer, as described by Jake. All mahogany, one piece body. Guild Bisonic pickup. Currently strung with GHS Bass Boomers. 34" scale. 1 5/8 inch bone nut.
Upgrades and customizations beyond a standard build: lollipop Hipshot ultralite USA tuners, quartersawn ROASTED MAPLE neck, WENGE fretboard (that's pronounced "whenn-gae" people!), cream racing stripes, black pick guard, custom brick red satin finish. Neck is hand finished by Jake, and perfect in every way.
Fretboard is sumptuous and snappy to the touch. LIGHT and resonant at 8 lb 12 oz on the package scale. Minor knicks as noted in photos and crack in pickguard at the jack due to humidity. Comes with Serek gig bag, certificate of authenticity signed by Jake, and goodie bag.
This has been an absolute joy to play. And it fulfilled my dream of owning a custom made bass. I picked it up in person from The Man himself. WAIT TIMES for these are over a year. WHY WAIT? Priced out online this would be over $3200. Buyer pays shipping CONUS.
