Serial number help: Ibanez GSR200 made in Indonesia

I'm having a hard time trying to decode this serial number:

I9090967

I bought this bass around 1999, don't remember the exact year though. It's an Ibanez GSR200 made in Indonesia. I googled for some directions on how to decode this serial number but could not come up with a sure solution. Can someone help me on this?

Thanks, but as I said I already googled (a lot!) and have also checked that page before. Not helpful. Can you find a matching format for the given serial number in that page? It starts with letter I (Indonesia) followed by 7 numbers.

Not to be rude, but this was my first thought. Used, it is valued at about $80. I have actually played a few that felt pretty good. But I wouldn't get all caught up in the stats.

I put the number you said in there and it said 1990. I thinks it's wrong though because it says it was made in Japan.

Edit: That can't be right because my Ibanez TR50 has a similar serial number and that website said it was made in '61 and I really don't think it's that old lol.

First number = year
Next = month
Last digits = model no.

"I" stands for Cort factory - Indonesia. The first number is "9" so the production year should be 1999. Next is "09" = 9th month of the year, so September. So your bass looks like it was made indeed in Indonesia by Cort, in September 1999, model no. 967.
