Serial number help: Ibanez GSR200 made in Indonesia

I'm having a hard time trying to decode this serial number:

I9090967

I bought this bass around 1999, don't remember the exact year though. It's an Ibanez GSR200 made in Indonesia. I googled for some directions on how to decode this serial number but could not come up with a sure solution. Can someone help me on this?

Thanks!

Not to be rude, but this was my first thought. Used, it is valued at about $80. I have actually played a few that felt pretty good. But I wouldn't get all caught up in the stats.

The reason why I want to decode the serial number is irrelevant. "It's a GSR200, does it matter?" Yes, for me it does matter.

You go to a forum ask for help and all you get is "It's a GSR200, does it matter?", or "see this useless wikipedia page that I did not even check". I don't want to be rude, but... for ****'s sake, if you have an actual answer to a question then say it. Otherwise, shut the **** up, don't waste your time, and don't waste my time either! Don't you find the question interesting? Fine, move on, no need to say useless ****.

Exactly. Sorry on behalf of all the idiots on this forum that feel the need to be total smart asses. They are usually 15 year old kids with no filter.

Letter = factory/location
First number = year
Next = month
Last digits = model no.

"I" stands for Cort factory - Indonesia. The first number is "9" so the production year should be 1999. Next is "09" = 9th month of the year, so September. So your bass looks like it was made indeed in Indonesia by Cort, in September 1999, model no. 967.
