I just posted a discussion about the operation of the DEEP switch on my Bassman 135 amplifier. I was able to confirm that the switch operates OPPOSITE to what I would expect. That is, when the switch is in the UP position there is a definite CUT in the lows (about -5dB for all frequencies below 500Hz).
See the thread here:
Bassman 135 Deep Switch - What were they thinking? (Nerd content...)
Now I am wondering about the operation of the DEEP switch in other Bassman amps, both vintage and newer models.
Any comments or observations welcome...
Thanks!!
