Seven String Bass Tuning

That's the problem, he found it!

Should I ever get a 7-string, this ^ is how I'd tune it.

In fact, I'd like a six-string bass tuned EADGBE; not a baritone, not a Bass VI, not a shorter scale, but a six-string bass EADGBE.
I live in Nashville and am currently working on my 2nd string bass album. I've been using my own tuning for 20 years. beadgdg. Standard 5 string + two treble strings an octave above the d and g. I capo the 4 treble strings to create open tuning patterns in different keys creating parallel octaves, bar chords, and harmonics. It's cheapest to use standard 5 string sets and add single strings. 125/8-45 +28+18. I'll have stuff on YouTube at 7 string bass soon!
