did i just buy his stock pups in the box from his new ones?

they should measure around 16k ohms, have a 2-wire shielded cable, and epoxied covers that cannot be removed.

yep, you bought his stock pickups. You’ve been had. Those look like stock MIM ceramic pickups.

^ This person is correct. Those are not QPs. Real QPs are very distictive-looking. And should read about 16k each.
 
well poopie i been had, that's what i get for not doing my research. i did think the poles looked to small. i forgot my meter when i met him.
well $40.00 for stock isnt too rediculous, but i think i will look into a preamp for these, considering the lower ohms.
