Seymour Duncan Single Coil P Bass Pickups?

I have a 51 reissue with one in it. It is without a doubt the baddest sounding bass with that pickup. It is a quarter pounder, but its sound is not similar to the standard quarter pounders on regular P-basses. It kills in the high mids and the lows are very distinctive sounding. Of all the basses I have had, that is the only one that I have held on too.

The SCPB pickups are actually a little bit bigger than a standard Strat pickup but not by much so depending on your route you may be able to make it work. Dimensions are given on SD's website.

As far as a model to choose I would go for the Quarter Pounder. It's the best sounding of the group IMHO. I have sold a bunch of them to guys with 51 reissues and they seem to get really positive reviews.
